Groupe Lefebvre has acquired a 4800DH shot blaster, the most powerful equipment currently available on the market. This state-of-the-art shot blasting system enables the texturing of concrete and asphalt surfaces for improved skid resistance.

This process is utilized on highways and airport runways to remove all rubber residue and other contaminants found on these surfaces. This type of shot blasting system uses only metal abrasives and requires no additional cleaning. Production rates exceed 2,000 square metres per hour. This equipment is also capable of stripping bridges and other large areas prior to their resurfacing or the installation of new waterproofing membrane.
