Groupe Lefebvre and Venture Construction, its American subsidiary, working in collaboration with Bishop-Sanzari, completed the waterproofing of the lower levels of the bridge span and its New Jersey side approaches.
A Type 3 membrane (in rolls) was also mechanically applied on the lower deck slab of the bridge, in addition to a methyl-methacrylate membrane on the approach spans.
