Groupe Lefebvre MRP Inc. is a St-Eustache based company, founded in 1984 by Richard Lefebvre, an engineer by profession. Immediately from the start, Richard, Patrice, Bertrand and their sister, Christine, came together to form a dynamic team. The family-owned business soon built and secured itself a solid reputation with its unique sealing methods, applied on Quebec roadways, airport surfaces, and commercial centres. The company also specializes in the construction and restoration of sports surfaces.
During the 1990’s, the firm undertook major projects for the waterproofing of buildings, concrete structures and shotcrete applications.
In 1998, Groupe Lefebvre MRP Inc. participated in several concrete research programs with Université Laval and the Centre de recherche inter-universitaire sur le béton (CRIB). Shortly thereafter, the firm was twice honoured for its innovative accomplishments.
In 1999 and 2000, the company completed its first contracts outside of Quebec. These initial waterproofing projects consisted of two American landmarks, the Georges Washington Bridge and New York Grand Central Station, as well as two bridges in the province of New Brunswick, the Jemseg and the Saint John River High Level Crossing. In order to meet the soaring increase in demand, Groupe Lefebvre MRP Inc. established a subsidiary, Venture Construction Inc., in New Hampshire. With Bertrand Lefebvre at its helm, the company has enjoyed remarkable growth.
Groupe Lefebvre MRP Inc. has continued its expansion throughout North America, owing greatly to its tenacious ability to remain at the forefront of technological advances within the industry, together with its highly skilled and qualified team of professionals.
